RecompHacks is a personal health and fitness journal. Right now I am most interested in the Paleo community, the Weston A Price Foundation, and the Quantified Self movement.
I plan to journal my current journey as I lose weight from a high of 265 lbs (at 5’8″) and recover from years of hard travel and poor habits as a consultant.
Some of my influences, from the first diet book I ever read “Body-For-Life” to the first podcast I ever really immersed myself in “Paleo Solution”.
For better or worse my journey has often been one of excess and consumerism. I’m addicted to self-help books, gadgets, and my Amazon Prime account. I mention this because I do use embedded Amazon Affiliate links here. Unless I indicate otherwise, it’s a product I use or recommend.
